New materials regarding research in the fields of architecture and urban construction are being presented. The authors also focus on the history of the creation of little-known buildings of interest, on the development of local architectural traditions, on new attributions, and introduce recently discovered archive materials. A number of papers are dedicated to the issues of architectural and urban planning development of historical towns and cities or study the formation of architectural ensembles. The edition also includes papers that are devoted to theoretical historical-architectural problems, to biographies of architects, or analyze artistic approaches and concepts.

Church of the Kazan Icon of Our Lady in the Village of Bolshaya Fyokhtalma in the Onega River Region: Additional Materials for the Architect A. A. Karetnikov’s Creative Path
The article is dedicated to the construction history of the Kazan church in the village of Bolshaya Fyokhtalma in Onezskiy district, Arkhangel region. The church was built from 1903 to 1907 as designed by the local architect A. A. Karetnikov. By the early 21st century, Kazan church in Bolshaya Fyokhtalma has remained practically the only evidence of the architect’s unique approach to church construction in the Russian North. A. A. Karetnikov is known predominantly as a wooden architecture restorer. The article is based on archives dedicated to the construction of the Kazan church in Bolshaya Fyokhtalma and on A. A. Karetnikov’s work as a local architect. The article includes detailed architectural drawings, that were done in the course of two expeditions conducted in 2019.
