New materials regarding research in the fields of architecture and urban construction are being presented. The authors also focus on the history of the creation of little-known buildings of interest, on the development of local architectural traditions, on new attributions, and introduce recently discovered archive materials. A number of papers are dedicated to the issues of architectural and urban planning development of historical towns and cities or study the formation of architectural ensembles. The edition also includes papers that are devoted to theoretical historical-architectural problems, to biographies of architects, or analyze artistic approaches and concepts.

The Church of St. Nicholas in Kapustniki and Tver Architecture of the second half — late 17th Century
The article is dedicated to a little-known masterpiece of Tver medieval architecture, which was built in the second half of the 17th century, radically rebuilt in the 18th century and deconstructed in the 1950s. Built in the 1660–1670s St. Nicholas Church marked the beginning of a new stage in the church building in the capital of the Upper Volga region that began after the major construction works took place in the Tver Kremlin in the 1660s — mid 1670s. The Church of St. Nicholas in Kapustniki is looked at in a wider context of a number of stone churches built in Tver and surrounding areas in the 1670s. The article makes an attempt to reveal the general compositional and typological features of the group of buildings, which has not survived until our days.
