New materials regarding research in the fields of architecture and urban construction are being presented. The authors also focus on the history of the creation of little-known buildings of interest, on the development of local architectural traditions, on new attributions, and introduce recently discovered archive materials. A number of papers are dedicated to the issues of architectural and urban planning development of historical towns and cities or study the formation of architectural ensembles. The edition also includes papers that are devoted to theoretical historical-architectural problems, to biographies of architects, or analyze artistic approaches and concepts.

About Centered Constructions of the Second Half of the 17th Century in the Middle of Tver Kremlin
The stone constructions in the territory of the former Tver Grand Principality appeared in 1610-es already, after the Time of Trouble. But the most effective centre in the first half and in the middle of the 17th century was not Tver but the Makary’s Monastery of the Saint Trinity of Kalyasin. Those were masters of the monastery who erected two centered buildings, a bell tower and the church of the Origin of the Honoured Trees of Our Saviour Cross in the centre of Tver kremlin in 1660–1670-es. The latter became evidently the first cult construction of this type built in the territory of Moscow Rus’ in the second half of the 17th century.
