Architecture of the Russian World Fair and International Exhibition Pavilions in the Late 19th — early 20th Century

The paper studies the impressive and highly individual Russian constructions at various international fairs and exhibitions, which reflected the principal tendencies in the development of domestic architecture, as well as the views of the organizers of these venues on a new type of architecture — national exhibition pavilions, the appearance of which was expected to have a stylized design, to express a return to the characteristic forms of the past. The clearly emphasized national trait of the Russian pavilions was not an exception, but was a part of the general trend in the architectural preferences of the countries that participated in these events.
