New materials regarding research in the fields of architecture and urban construction are being presented. The authors also focus on the history of the creation of little-known buildings of interest, on the development of local architectural traditions, on new attributions, and introduce recently discovered archive materials. A number of papers are dedicated to the issues of architectural and urban planning development of historical towns and cities or study the formation of architectural ensembles. The edition also includes papers that are devoted to theoretical historical-architectural problems, to biographies of architects, or analyze artistic approaches and concepts.

Church of Our Lady Hodegetria in the Village Palets in Nizhny Novgorod Region. Some Observations Regarding the Spreading of Two-Pillar Type Churches in the Volga Region in the Last Quarter of the 17th Century
The stone Church of Our Lady Hodegetria, located in the Village Palets of the Perevoz District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, was erected in 1680, its construction financed by Prince Feodor Semionovich Urusov, who owned the village. Information regarding the time of its appearance and its sponsor can be read in the second edition of the «Story of the Passion Icon of the Mother of God in Palets». «Our Lady Hodegetria» is a rare example of a patrimonial church of the last quarter of the 17th century, which represents a centric, two-pillar type of building with one illuminated cupola and a peculiar system of barrel vaults.
